Look about for nearly any of the Euro-made cars- they adopted diesel years ago, before emissions crud caught up with them. Look for mid-80's to mid-90's Mercedes Benz sedans first, 'cause some shop in LA specializes in conversions for ~$750 (involves a fuel heater to warm up veggie oil on cold starts) the rest is fine-tuning.


The VW Golf-D also works just fine, just not as popular.
car has to have a diesel engine to run on vegetable oil.


it was the cfc's used in old air conditioners %26amp; hair spray that damaged the ozone. its been outlawed for years so just enjoy your drive.
