When car oil gets old, does your car start burning it??

2002 car doesn't use any oil, until we get to about 1 plus years without changing it (only do %26lt;2000 miles.year). Then it will go down 1/6 of quart per 1000 miles driven.. No leaks. When car oil gets old, does your car start burning it??
?? 2,000 a year?? Driving that few miles and not changing the oil and filter is not only hard on the engine but the battery and mileage. Need to change the oil and filter at least every 4 to 6 months if you use synthetic Oil. With the oil that old some may burn but mostly what happens is slug will built up in the oil pan and some may even clog the Oil Gaile's damaging the engine. Oil gales and engine may need to be flushed.

5.6 miles a day is just Berle enough to keep a charge in the Battery and warm the engine for better gas mileage. When car oil gets old, does your car start burning it??
Yes it will burn when it gets old unless it is sythetic oil.
no it doesn't burn oil till 75,000 miles +
you are supposed to change it every 3 months
