And you can mix them. Ever heard of semi-synthetic? It's a mix.

Youll be fine, just dont mix them. Synthetic has more detergent properties, and bonds to parts better. Sometimes if you switch back, it will start to leak because the gunk plugging the holes is gone.
It won't hurt your car one bit by changing to regular oil from synthetic, just drain all the synthetic out and change the filter and fill with regular oil.
suggest that I have switched back and forth......no problems encountered
