How do you get car oil off concrete?

There are some special solvents that will get about 90% of the oil off of cement. A power steam cleaner can get a little more off, but a year of wet winter weather will also help if you add some Tide laundry soap, and a stiff scrub brush at least once per week.

Get some clay based kitty litter--the cheap stuff-- and pour it on the oil and rub it in with a piece of 2x4. Just a block of wood. This should lift the oil out of the concrete. If it is just a few drips it won't take much litter to get it up. You can also get oil dry at an auto parts store but it is the same clay based granules. I always use kitty litter. Just pour it over the oil and crush it in with your foot, then sweep it up. This is actually a military technique.
Kitty litter works for me. Cover the oil with kitty litter and let it sit overnight.

i've used dawn dish washing liquid, put some on the oil scrub a little and wash off.
