Many years ago I worked for Gulf pipeline. We had a very small bleeder valve break and squirt a find mist of crude oil over the lawn. We fix it but the lawn was in trouble. Near the leak the grass died. Perhaps 30 ft. out where it got just a small amount of oil ,it grew very rapid like it had been fertilized. ,but of coarse we watered it with lots of water.
